Windows 8 mapped drives not showing

To fix this problem go to registry

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Policies/System

and

create a new DWORD entry

with the name EnableLinkedConnections and value 1

Select 64bit if your os is 64bit and 32bit if your os is 32bit
