When you register a domain name it will be registered for a fixed amount of time, usually between one and 10 years. Once that time passes, the domain name will expire and will no longer be yours. At that stage it can be purchased by another buyer. If you forget to renew your domains in a timely manner, this can have serious consequences as you can lose access to your website and email temporarily or for good. This is why staying on top of domain renewal dates and renewing promptly is so important.
Renew a domain name
When you register a domain name you will usually have the option to register it for between one and ten years. Once that time period is close to being up, you’ll have the option to renew it. If you don’t renew it and it expires, you may lose the domain.

How do I renew my domain name and hosting?
If your domain names are already with us, the renewal process is simple. Simply click on the my account button on the top right hand corner of the screen. Login with your credentials that you received when you originally ordered your domain and hosting, and you’ll be given the option to renew on the spot.
