Discover the benefits of Business NBN from IT&T
At IT&T, we understand the needs of Australian businesses when it comes to internet services. You need a fast and reliable internet connection that can support your online activities, such as communicating with your customers, collaborating with your team, or accessing online tools and resources.
That's why we offer Business NBN, an internet service that uses the nbn™ network to deliver internet access to businesses across Australia. Business NBN offers a range of speed tiers, reliability options, and technology types to suit your business needs and budget.
Choose from a range of speed tiers, from 12Mbps to 1000Mbps, depending on your online activities and budget. You can also upgrade or downgrade your speed tier as your business needs change.
Enjoy a network availability target of 99.9% for most services, which means that the network is expected to be operational for at least 99.9% of the time. You can also add optional service level agreements (SLAs) from IT&T for enhanced support and fault resolution.
Connect to the nbn™ network using a range of technologies, such as fibre, copper, wireless, or satellite, depending on what is available and suitable for your location and premises type. You can also switch between different technologies if needed.
Pay a standard installation fee of $300 for most services, which covers the cost of connecting your premises to the nbn™ network. You can also choose from a variety of plans and features from IT&T that offer competitive prices and value.
Getting Business NBN from IT&T is easy. Just follow these simple steps:

What is FTTN?
Fibre-to-the-Node (FTTN) uses a fibre optic line to connect the nbn™ access network to a node (street cabinet) nearby the end user’s premises. The node then uses the existing copper network to make the final part of the network connection to the end user’s premises. The copper network typically terminates at a telecommunications outlet (telephone wall socket) inside the end user’s premises.FTTN utilises VDSL2 (Very-high-bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line) technology. This is a newer (and faster) technology than ADSL and ADSL2+ (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line). VDSL2 uses a noise-cancelling technology called vectoring, working like noise-cancelling headphones, to cut out interference among the VDSL2 lines. VDSL2-compatible modems (required to operate a service over the nbn™ FTTN access network) are supplied to end users by their service provider or can be purchased by the end user from a third party.
What is FTTP?
Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) connects a fibre optic line from the nearest available node on the street to an end user's premises, connecting them to the nbn™ access network. Standard installation involves mounting an nbn Premises Connection Device (PCD) or ‘utility box’ on the outside of the premises, an nbn Network Termination Device (NTD) or ‘connection device’ within the premises, and an optional battery backup unit (BBU) if required. The nbn connection box connects to the end user’s own or service provider-supplied modem which provides Wi-Fi and other in-home capabilities.
What is FTTB?
Fibre to the Building (FTTB) is used for connecting an apartment block or similar building to the nbn™ access network. Fibre optic lines connect the nbn™ access network to a node or DSLAM (‘Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer’) in the building’s communications room, and from there the building’s existing copper cabling is used to connect each apartment. FTTB utilises VDSL2 (Very-high-bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line) technology. This is a newer (and faster) technology than ADSL and ADSL2+ (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line). VDSL2 uses a noise-cancelling technology called vectoring, working like noise-cancelling headphones, to cut out interference among the VDSL2 lines. VDSL2-compatible modems (required to operate a service over the nbn™ FTTB access network) are supplied to end users by their service provider or can be purchased by the end user from a third party.
What is FTTC?
Fibre to the Curb (FTTC) connection is used in circumstances where fibre is extended close to your premises, connecting to a small Distribution Point Unit (DPU), generally located inside a pit on the street. From here, the existing copper network is connected to the fibre to form the final nbn™ connection. To power your nbn™ FTTC service with electricity and provide your connection to the nbn™ network, an nbn™ connection box will be required inside your home or business.
What is Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC)?
HFC is a network technology that allows two-way, high speed broadband content (voice, video and data) to be delivered to the home using a combination of fibre and coaxial cable. An nbn HFC connection is used in circumstances where the existing pay TV or cable network can be used to make the final part of the nbn™ access network connection.
